MRA Carpets & Flooring is a family run business based in Undy, South Wales.

We believe in delivering excellent professional service along with friendliness & reliability.

We provide free no obligation quotations and we are happy to help in any way we can to make sure finding your new floor is as easy and stress-free as possible.

Unlike buying on the high street we bring samples directly to you at home/business so you can see them against your own paint colours, fabrics and in the correct lighting.

You can also rest assured that we do not use contract fitters. Everything we do is in house from consultations through to fitting. This way we can guarantee a smooth and efficient service for every job.

Meet The Team

Andrew Thow

Andrew is the owner of the business and has been in the trade for over 15 years. He has a wealth experience working with clients on both domestic and commercial flooring projects.
Born & raised locally Andrew is a familiar friendly face to many and also loves to help support the community wherever possible.

Kelvin Miles

Kelvin is a close family friend and former warfare specialist with The Royal Navy. He came on board in 2016 and is now fully trained and confident in all areas of the flooring trade.
With a great outgoing friendly attitude and an eye for detail, Kelvin is a valuable member of the team and we look forward to working together for many years to come.

Mike Russon

Mike has spent over 40 years in the trade and previously ran the business before handing the reigns over to Andrew in 2015 with an eye to spending some more time relaxing and working on his much-loved garden.
Mikes expertise and experience is still utilised regularly and he enjoys being part of new projects.

Helen Russon

Helen provides a welcoming first point of contact in the office and also deals with accounts and invoicing.
Again well known locally Helen has spent a great deal of her life living and working in the community including several years of service with the local post office.

    Needed our kitchen flooring replaced as the (not cheap) vinyl we'd had fitted just over a year ago was disappointing at best. MRA was able to come out and advise what could be done. They were able to fit soon after Christmas and the whole kitchen and utility was levelled, screeded and vinyl fitted in 2 days. the whole room looks so much better and has been neatly finished. it is a joy to walk into the room and our kitchen is now finally fully finished. An excellent job carried out, we would definitely recommend MRA for any flooring jobs and we will certainly be looking to use them for the flooring needed around the whole house.

Great job on the fitting which included some new door bars and even enjoyed his singing to the radio.     Excellent and very professional service - highly recommended!!! Andy provides a very friendly and profesional service with years and years of experience. After having a lino fitted in our hallway a few years back, wich we were extremely happy with we called him recently to fit lino in our kitchen, bathroom and downstairs loo - all turned up fantastic!
